Indefinite Hold

I have decided that I am going to put my blog on hold for a while. I have a lot going on right now (looking for a job, going to school, etc) and I just don’t have the creative energy I used to have. I hope it will come back to me someday, but right now it’s just… gone.

I still enjoy reading blogs, although it seems to me that a lot of previously interesting blogs have just become advertisements for quilt shops and pattern designers. The online quilting world is growing and changing rapidly and I just don’t have the time to keep up with it.

I will continue to post on Flickr as I have anything to post, and I will see some of you on Twitter and Facebook.

Hugs to all!

Jennie

  1. Take care. I totally hear ya. Feels like a big competition around the quilting blogs. If you're not giving stuff away or trying to sell something, it's hard to compete. Even when you don't want to be competing!

  10. You have so many new changes on board right now and I can totally see where you will have little time to post. Have fun with school and your friends and good luck with the diet that is going so well.

  11. I completely get where you're coming from. It's hard to feel like posting when life is going so fast (I've been super quiet on my blog lately too). Good luck with everything!

  12. It sounds like you have some new and exciting changes coming up and I can totally understand needing to put your quilting on hold. I was so excited when I found you on twitter and realized you were a real, live quilter who lived semi-near me! I hope things get better and better and someday you'll have the time and urge to sew again. Good Luck!!
