Caught Up At Last!!

July was a rough month as far as inspiration and motivation to quilt and sew! This was unfortunate, since I had SO many swaps in July... I finished up this morning, with a firm resolve to not let myself get so far behind again!

This block was made for Julie in the Sweet Dreams Quilting Bee...

These were made for Mary in the Buzz Cuts Bee...

I also finished my S.T.U.D. mini, and got swaps put together and mailed out for the "A Little Fabric, A Little Chocolate" swap, and the "Fat Quarter Swap With A Twist"! Whew!

In August I have one swap (Fat Quarter Swap With A Twist), 3 bee blocks and the Doll Quilt Swap. I am getting started on these today, since the rest of August is insanely busy!

Thomas The Tank Engine is coming to the Illinois Railway Museum in August, and Hubby and I are both volunteers for the event. I am helping my friend Julie with a free card-making station, and Hubby is charge of all the cash registers, and helping in the office at night, making up new change banks and deposits. He is also at the front gate every day, answering questions and handing out maps! He's usually out there from 7am till midnight each day of the event, and every evening for a week before the event!

  1. Such lovely blocks! You certainly have a lot to do. My son loved Thomas as a child. It will be a busy day, no doubt, but lots of fun for the children. Ann :)
