This is the mini quilt I received from Meg in the S.T.U.D. Alphabet Mania swap... she had the letter "O"- and make me an "Outragiously Bright Owl With Orange O's"!! Isn't he absolutely adorable? I just love him!
This is my block for the online Round Robin I am participating in... there are 4 of us. We each make a block for the center and mail it to the others, then we start sending the centers around to each other for borders! Once all the borders are done we'll each finish the one we have in our possession and then send it on one last time. Our colors are black, white and red! It's going to be so much fun, and I was flattered that I was one of the organizer's first choices for someone she wanted to have participate!
This was sent to Susi in Germany... her local quilt store owner wants to put together a quilt with blocks from all over the world and then take it on a tour of European quilt shows! How exciting that one of my blocks will be in this quilt!!
Not too much else. It's getting ready to storm, so I need to shut down the computer now!

ReplyDeleteHow cool that your block will be part of a quilt that travels all over Europe. Pity you can't go with it!. Your Round Robin quilt will be interesting to follow to see how everyone adds their own touch to the project. The owl is fabulous!
