Colder Yet!

So yesterday, I thought that it was pretty darn cold at -22°F. And it was. But this morning... it was colder yet! Our thermometer said it was -31°F!! That's -35°C for my Australian friends... in other words, too cold! Another day of sticking close to the house. I don't actually need to leave the house again until... well, next Thursday! I am sure I will go somewhere between now and then... but not today!

I have been chosen!! Ann over at A Good Yarn is doing a "Pay It Forward", and I have been chosen to recieve a gift from her! I am so excited! I will host my Pay It Forward next month. I am looking forward to it! How fun to give, and receive, with no strings attached (well, I have to host a Pay It Forward, but really, that's more like fun than an obligation!)! Just being chosen to participate in this makes me feel warmer!

I am almost done with my stitchery version of the Bunny Hill Designs free block of the month. I'll post about it when it's done... it's turning out super cute!!

  1. My teeth are chattering just thinking about how cold minus 35 is! I'm excited too at the prospect of making a PIF for you. I have been reading all your posts on your marvellous blog - what wonderful quilts you have made! I hope you don't mind if I borrow the idea for cutting up the nine patch. It's a great effect from a simple idea. I'm also looking forward to seeing your Bunny Hill BOM.

    Happy Stitching...Ann :)

  2. A couple of days ago here it was 39 degrees C...that's well over 100 degrees F......I'll swap you some of your cold for some of our heat, between us we could both be more comfortable! Keep cozy.
